Did that silly title get your attention? I hope so because I'm about to blow your mind with some serious political discourse.
Just kidding! I would never submit you to opinionated, possibly irrational, jargon on America's socioeconomic circus adventure.
I actually just wanted to say, Hello! Big Hugs! Long time no talk! You may have noticed that over the past few months, things have been a little quieter on the BHM front. Allow me to fill you in on what’s been happening. Here is what has happened in three simple memes:
Over the winter, we parted ways with David, as he moves on to other ventures. We will miss his energy, comedy, and creative spirit, but as musicians we all know how important it is to take the personal time required to learn, grow, and care for our individual creative needs. We sincerely wish him the best of luck!
So, in the quiet solace of the winter, we found ourselves as a four-piece cultivating an entirely new sound, writing new songs, and we really worked hard to make recording this new stuff a reality! In March of 2016 we picked a studio and an engineer to work with and now we are diligently constructing a present for you:
We've teamed up with Producer, Engineer, and session musician, Ron DiSilvestro and the history-rich Studio 4 in Conshohocken, PA to create an EP for you!!! In April we spent about 22 hours over a period of 2 days to complete the major tracking and now we're down to the details of mixing, mastering, packaging, graphic-designing, screaming, crying, and drinking..............water to stay hydrated.
For the late spring and rolling through the summer we have a few gigs on the calendar that I'm happy to share with you:
On Friday June 3rd from 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm we will perform at the beautiful Colonial Plantation, 3900 N Sandy Flash Dr, Newtown Square, PA 19073. Tickets are $15.00. The concert will be held in the air conditioned ball room of the park mansion with beer, soda, and snacks provided. Doors will open at 6:30 pm.
On Friday July 22nd from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm we will perform at the relaxing Hawk Haven Vineyard & Winery, 600 S Railroad Ave, Rio Grande, NJ 08242, as part of their Rootstock Concert Series! Named for the essential part of the grape vine, Rootstock combines beautiful vineyard ambiance and intimate music performances. With the sun setting behind the vineyard, music and wine provides the perfect backdrop for a fun Friday night at Hawk Haven!
LAST BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST:
We're thrilled to join our friends Forlorn Strangers for their CD release party at the Boot & Saddle on Saturday August 6th. The show gets rolling at 8:00 pm. We're also sharing the bill with another super fun group of musicians, Apache Trails. And that's that for our presidential primary update! We hope to see you at some of our late spring and summer shows. Watch out for more 2016 EP updates coming soon!
